The Library Foundation's mission is to support the long term goals of the library as well as other endeavors that are beyond the scope of the City's funding of the Library.

The Seaside Public Library Foundation is a proud supporter of the Seaside Public Library, Friends of the Seaside Public Library, and Libraries Reading Outreach in Clatsop County (Libraries ROCC).

Established in 2014

Formed in 2014 as a 501c3, the Seaside Public Library Foundation is working toward the long term goals of the Seaside Public Library.

Our Meetings

The Seaside Library Foundation Board meets the first Tuesday of every month.

Leah Griffith returned to her hometown, Seaside, retiring as director of the Newberg (OR) Public Library after 27 years.  “My first real job was at the Seaside Public Library at 16, which started me on my 47 year career as a librarian/library director.  I am excited to be part of the Library Foundation and support the work of the library in serving our community.”
